Dental Remedies

I have struggled for the last few days with a toothache, so I figured I would share a few toothache remedies with you. They are listed in no particular order, so pick your favorite one and give it a try!
-Ground Cloves, this is a quick and easy remedy is straight from your kitchen pantry on the affected tooth. This is one I use frequently as it is always in my pantry, and it works like a charm!
-Echinacea is better known for being a cold remedy, but surprisingly it is great for toothaches as well.

-Tea tree oil, a few drops infused in water used to cleanse the mouth will give immediate relief and the best part is it also had added benefit of being antibacterial!
-Yarrow root, is an anesthetic, to relieve a toothache apply the fresh root or leaves to the gums or teeth. Yarrow also has the ability to stop bleeding and heal wounds.
-Plantain, crush the leaves and place on an ache tooth and it will stop the toothache.
Other ideas and suggestions:
*Floss gently; your gums can become very sore if you are aggressive with flossing.
*Rinse with salt water, 1 tsp of salt into a glass of water, swish around in your mouth then spit out.

**Note this information is simply to give relief until you can get in to see your dentist.
