Additional ideas for you to try –
– Always start with a sink that is thoroughly cleaned or use a plastic dishpan.
– Baking Soda can be used as a scrub to remove dirt and residue.
– Vinegar and water mixed at 50/50 also is a good fruit and vegetable cleaner.
– Fill your clean sink with water, add ¼ cup apple cider vinegar and soak fruit 15 minutes, rinse before preparing.
– Fill the sink with fruit and vegetables then add water. For every gallon of water in the sink add 4 drops of Grapefruit Seed Extract and add 1/8 cup salt. Soak for 10 to 12 minutes then rinse with clear water.
– Remember to wash the rinds of melons and squash before cutting. That way you don’t drag pesticides and toxins across your fruit as you cut it.
