Emergency Car Kits

Automobile Emergency Kit

When seasons change is a great time to make sure your car is prepared for the weather changes.  Where you live can also make a difference as to what preparedness ideas you may need. Keep in mind that you may need snow tires, new windshield wipers, anti-freeze, heater/air conditioner service, and even recommended scheduled tune-ups. For everyone it should mean preparing your car for whatever could happen.

Remember to make preparations for your family as well.  Emergency car kits are crucial for breakdowns or unusual weather conditions. Keeping a few essentials handy can make the difference in any car related emergency.

What is important to keep in your Emergency Car Kit?  Make sure you have the basic essentials first such as water, shelter and food.  Then you can add additional needs and necessities such as first aid kits, light, tools and other accessories.

Several types of pre-packaged emergency Car Kits are available in the market, or you can customize your own. Remember even if you are purchasing a pre-packed kit you may need to customize it according to your needs (medications, glasses, etc.) Keep your kit in a small compact case or plastic bin so that it fits easily in your trunk or under the seat of your vehicle.
